We have some helpful tips to make them feel comfortable in their golden years!
ELEVATED DOG BOWLS
Relieves the strain on the joints of larger dogs having to bend over.
ORTHOPEDIC DOG BED
Helps cushion joints & bones. Many come with a heating feature to keep them comfortable AND cozy.
COVER HARD WOOD FLOORS
If you have some area rugs you can lay down, it may help minimize the slips & falls your older dog endures.
RAMPS
Climbing stairs & jumping can be really difficult for older dogs. They may need help getting upstairs or onto certain surfaces. Ramps are perfect for easing that transition so your dog can still get to all the places he/she loves.
INDOOR POTTY STATION
Whether it’s an issue of not being able to get to the door fast enough, or simply not being able to control it, many senior dogs will start having problems making it outside to use the bathroom. Set up a designated area with some pee pads for your dog to use & go to the bathrooms on indoors. Newspaper also works!
SWEATERS
Senior dogs tend to have trouble regulating their own body temperature. Putting a sweater on will help them keep the warmth in & close to their body. May not be needed in warmer months unless you have the AC on full blast.
