Puzzle feeders for cats add enrichment to their lives, enhance their natural hunting instinct, and have many other health benefits!
Let’s talk puzzle feeding for CATS!
HUNTING-
Having your cat work for their food will fulfill their natural hunting instincts!
ENRICHMENT-
Not only is this physically enriching for your cat to have to work for their food, but mentally it has them working hard to problem solve. It leaves your cat satisfied that they figured it out & may even have them tired after!
STRESS & BOREDOM-
Having an activity for your cat to be focused in on can greatly reduce any stress they may be feeling & certainly helps fix any boredom.
WEIGHT LOSS-
With puzzle feeding you control exactly how much your cat is getting. Not only is there some exercise involved in retrieving the food, but it helps them eat in smaller portions which can lead to weight loss.
SCARF & BARF-
Puzzles mean your cat is eating a lot slower and only a little at a time. They don’t have the option of inhaling a mouth full of food. So if your cat is a scarf & barfer, this may be the solution for you!
Puzzles CAN be used with wet food & if you have more than one cat they can work together OR you can get multiple puzzles! If your cat figures out the puzzle too quickly, there are plenty of ways to make it more difficult. There are also homemade puzzles you can look into!
Let your cat have some fun while they eat
